Proudly Remembering Those Who Served

On this Veterans Day, we remember those in our family that have served our country. 

Grandpa Gary Miller served in the Marines in the Vietnam War. 

Uncle Gale Miller served in the Navy as an airplane mechanic during the Vietnam War. 

Great Uncle John Sachse served in the Navy during the Korean War. 

Great Grandpa Carl Sachse served in the Navy on the USS Ariel supply ship in the Atlantic Feet during WWII. 

Great Grandpa Paul Hobson served in the Navy in the Pacific Fleet on the USS Bunker Hill aircraft carrier in WWII. 

Great Uncle Charlie served in the Army Corps of Engineers in Europe (France) in WWII. 

Great Grandpa James Ruchti served in the Army in the artillery division, Japanese code-breaking, and German POW repatriation project in WWII. 

Great Great Grandpa Clarence Ruchti served as a dentist in the Army in WWI.
