Totally Made Up!

Where Tuesday's post was all about Ash, today is all about Zach! Zach had a field trip to the community center today with his class to learn all about the theater. His class received a tour backstage where they learned all about lighting, sets, costumes, and makeup etc for a stage production. Zach came home made up as an "old man". I love the curly mustache!

We then worked together tonight on the visual for his latest book report. He read a biography of Pocahontas. In addition to his written report, he had to make an artistic rendering from a two liter bottle, styrofoam head and other craft materials. We think she looks fabulous with her bead necklace and beaver cape that she traditionally wore to visit Jamestown in the winter. 

The kids are all geared up for their school Valentines  Day parties tomorrow. Marvel hero valentines were selected this year! Guardians of the Galaxy by Ash and Captain America by Zach.
