On Sunday, Grandma Dixie hosted a belated birthday party for me with family since we were out of town on my actual birthday. Dinner was lovely with a delicious birthday carrot cake for dessert. So far "49 is Mighty Fine"!
That same morning I taught 3 fitness classes for our quarterly new program launches at the gym. I sure was ready for cake in the afternoon! Haha! Ely and I had different coordinating outfits for the three classes that we taught together. The fruit theme turned out even better than expected with the matching colors!
Monday morning Ashton started marching band camp in anticipation of the school year starting new week. This morning before band he received his schedule, iPad, and all other information for the upcoming school year. Sophomore year is a "go"!
Zach received all A+ for his three classes that he took this summer. He is now relaxing before we take him back to ASU on August 17th. We are looking forward to a short visit by Aunt Jenny and Cousin Wyn next week before they start school. As of the beginning of July, they are now back in the states living in Maryland living near Jenny's extended family. We are so happy to have them within more easy traveling distance and can't wait for their visit!
