Ash is a “Freshie”

Ashton is now officially a freshman at Flag High. Got him registered this morning!

This dude hung out on my antenna as I dropped Ashton off at band camp after registration. 

In other news, Ashton and his four-person flute section won the celebrity spirit week challenge yesterday. They all dressed up as singers: Rick Astley, Jennifer Lopez, and two different versions of Taylor Swift. They got cute prizes for their efforts. Today each section was to bring in crazy props to compete with most crazy costume. Ashton brought in his shark head, a cowboy hat, and bandana. Too funny! Will the flutes win again? Go flutes!!!!!
