We made it to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada!

After getting through border control (cranky border patrol officers- not very friendly at all!), all went well. Our luggage arrived with us successfully. Ashton was remarking that everything here in Canada is basically like the US, but different. French everywhere in addition to English. Everything uses the metric system! Lots of electric vehicles including our taxi. (It was so quiet and weird!!!) So vegetation is so lush and it’s humid outside. We are enjoying both Mountains AND the ocean!

We enjoyed absolutely excellent Korean cuisine at a restaurant within walking distance from our hotel. Spicy and delicious!!!

The cruise ship pier is right behind the pointy white buildings in the picture below on the right. We will embark tomorrow around noon. We will have the morning to find breakfast and explore Vancouver a bit more. 

Meanwhile, Derek and I both started reading the following book on the flight from Phoenix to Vancouver. It is excellent!!!
