Canada Bound!

We started our day with final preparations for our Alaska trip! We dropped Snickers off at the kennel then headed down to Phoenix to catch our flight to Vancouver, Canada. 

The boys decompressed on the drive south after a full week of finals and last-week-of-school antics. 

A stop at Firehouse subs for an early lunch before going to the airport. 





Of course the airport had to be an adventure…

Already an eventful trip! At PHX airport.  Checked in at the Air Canada service desk. My boarding pass kept printing out as Zach. Lots of Zach/Mom jokes. They finally got my boarding pass to print. Started walking to security and we noticed that Z and I had the same seat on both of our passes. More jokes ensued about sitting in Z’s lap during the flight. Z and I walked back to the Air Canada service desk. The attendant tried to fix it but failed and said that her supervisor will fix it at the gate. When we get to security for the second time, when the TSA agent scans our boarding passes, both Zach and my boarding passes scan in as me. Rejected!!!! The passes and scans must match passports!!! More jokes between Z and I as we headed back to the Air Canada service desk to get it fixed. It took three agents to resolve the issue. Finally made it thought security and are now at the gate where our plane awaits. We had a fellow passenger come  up to us saying she was glad we got our issue fixed. I guess everyone notices when you get rejected at security. Haha!!!

Next stop- Vancouver, Canada!!!!
