Casting off!

We made it onto the ship yesterday around 1:30pm. We found our cabin and then went in search of food. Luckily the grill by the pool was open where we enjoyed burgers, pizza, ice cream and fries. Afterwards, we got the kids set up at the teen lounge where they have all sorts of games, food, and activities parent-free!

Our cruise package includes 13 specialty drinks a day (alcohol free versions for the kids too), so we hung out in the sun and started to try different varieties. Pretty awesome that the boys like to hang out with us! 

Above Zach enjoys a drink called “Strawberries on Fire” with strawberry syrup, club soda, and jalapeños! It was really spicy!

After viewing an anacong sunset, we finally cast off around 10pm. Alaska bound!!!

We all slept really well after going to bed late. The roll of the ship is very gentle and comforting. Today we are enjoying a day at sea on our way to Ketchikan, AK. We passed another cruise ship this morning! (As seen from our stateroom!)
