Our final day at Bryce Canyon

We started our morning with another round of farm fresh egg omelets (so good!) and getting our belongings together to check out of our AirB&B. We arrived at the park around 9:30am and made a stop at the visitor’s center (more on that soon) and then drove to Bryce Point for a morning look again at the fabulous Bryce Amphitheater! The weather today was crisp, but wonderful clear blue skies. The full sun was wonderful! We were gawking at the trail below where we had hiked the previous afternoon.

We then drove to Sunset Point and gathered our gear to hike part of the Fairyland Loop trail down to the Tower Bridge and back up. It was an icy, slushy, muddy slog, but totally worth the views! 4.5 miles of awesome!

After 1.5 miles and an 800 ft drop, we made it to Tower Bridge. What an amazing structure of rock! 









We made a friend who was very interested in our mid-hike snacks!

We then ate lunch and the stopped at Fairyland Viewpoint for last views before leaving the park and heading home to Flagstaff. 

Oh yes, we finally saw some deer!
