Sweets to ring in the New Year!

Derek is recovering well and was up and about quite a bit today. Yay! We made fudge and peanut brittle this afternoon after a New Year’s Eve mid-afternoon dinner of baked ham and homemade macaroni and cheese. It had been a few years and it was nice to work on those sugar chemistry skills. Ashton was an enthusiastic helper! 

Marshmallow fluff can be so entertaining at high altitude! 









This week has worn me out. I went to bed early last night and started my day with a run with the girls- last run of 2020. It helped reenergize me. 

Here’s to 2021. May it be better than 2019 and 2020.
