There were many Governor’s Awards receptions that took place this week around the state. The reception for Northern Arizona nominees was held at the historic La Posada Inn and restaurant. We loved the camel who greeted us out front!

Governor’s Arts Award for the Flagstaff Community Band
As Chair and Vice Chair of the Board respectively, my friend Jody and I traveled to a reception in Winslow, AZ this evening representing the Flagstaff Community Band who was nominated for a Governor’s Arts Award. It was a honor for our organization to be selected tonight as a finalist tonight in the category of excellence in Arts Organizations. Congratulations to the band!!!
