Flagstaff Friday Night Lights

This evening we all went to Flagstaff High’s first football game of the season. They play their games at the NAU Skydome. (So I was all dressed for outdoor football weather and cool mountain nights not realizing that they play INSIDE! But I digress...) 

We sat over near the band and student section. Zach was content to sit with us as he did not see anyone that he knew from his classes. That will come in time. 

The game was good. Flagstaff had a substantial lead over Glendale when we left at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Watching the band was a high point for me. Ashton loved waving to the Eagle mascot. Derek commented that the quarterbacks for both teams were fairly descent and Flag had some great receivers. It was still weird to hear the Notre Dame fight song played in a non Notre Dame setting. Ha! Anyway, it was a fun night!
