Arranging and Organizing

After near two weeks of company, as of Saturday afternoon we became a household of 4 again. Sunday we took a trip organized by Grandma Dixie to visit the air traffic control tower at Flagstaff airport. Dixie snd Cliff befriended Bruce, a resident of our neighborhood and air traffic controller, who invited us for a tour. They definitely  the best office view in the area! Both Bruce and his co-controller, Dave, received training in the military and then through the FAA. Were able to witness them doing their important jobs as runway and ground controllers for quite a few commercial and private jet landings as well as a helicopter. Way cool! Sorry no pictures. Cell phone had to be turned off!

Today Derek and I caught up on a few outstanding projects. We rearranged living room furniture and took out a leaf in the dining room table. We put on new weather stripping on the front door. The biggest feat was cleaning up the garage. We can now fit both cars in- something we have not been able to do since the day we arrived!

In other news, on Friday we had our first mountain thunderstorm since we arrived in Flag! I just love the smells and how the rain cools everything off. Bring on the monsoons!!!!
