Walnut Canyon and Montezuma's Castle National Monuments

We started the day with a beautiful sunrise on the San Francisco peaks. 

 

After breakfast, we drove to Walnut Canyon National Monument for some easy hiking and to see the Sinagua Indian cliff dwellings. 

 

    

 

    

 

We then drove an hour south to Montezuma's Castle National Monument. We ate a picnic lunch at the park by Beaver Creek.
