After lunch, we drove to Kasha Ketuwe Tent Rocks National Monument for 4 miles of amazing hiking and scenery!
Outstanding canyon hike
The Tent-like structures are called hoodoos.
Views of the Sangre de Christo Moontsins in the distance.
Panoramic view from the top of the mesa with Jemez mountains on the right, Sangre de Cristos in the middle, and Sandia peaks to the right.
Many of the hoodoos with boulders on top reminded us of Wiley Coyote from Looney Tunes.
After hiking, we drove for another 4 hours to Farmington, NM where we are staying the night. Time to relax before heading to Utah tomorrow with some great NM brew!
That looks absolutely amazing. Wow. Enjoy! Here's hoping we can do something like that soon!
