Thursday Musings

Ash is on the mend. He has been relaxing today with TV and games while I have been working. I made him hot dogs and kraft macaroni and cheese for lunch (his request) and a strawberry-banana smoothie to help cool his throat. 

Zach just got home from school and had me fill out his 7th grade enrollment form. Yikes!!!! He will be taking accelerated English, Honors algebra, geography-eastern hemisphere, life sciences, and orchestra as his year round courses. He will have Spanish, Gateway to Technology (with modules focused on design and modeling, The Magic of Electrons, The Science of Technology, and Flight and Space), STEM- Medical Detectives, and Computers Applications as his 9 week electives. Cool! Middle school sounds a lot more fun now than when I was in it back in the 1980s. 

In other news, the past two days have been freezing! Tomorrow and Saturday will host temperatures in the 70s and 80s. Crazy weather! No wonder the plague is going around!!!!
