The Twelve Miles of Christmas and other puzzles!

So we have been pretty boring. Tuesday we went grocery shopping and went out for Chinese buffet (kids' special request). I worked in the afternoon from home for a couple hours as work issues have come up. (That was also a theme for yesterday and today.  Bah Humbug!!!!) We watched Star Wars A New Hope Tuesdsy evening. Totally takes on a new meaning after watching Rogue One. Yesterday afternoon (after I finished done work items) we made fudge. I love the boys' faces on these sampling shots.

Today I woke up at 6am to go run "the twelve miles of Christmas" with my running buddies. We dressed up in festive running gear and had fabulous views of the winter morning sun. We stopped at Starbucks half way through the run for a warm treat. So fun! Tracy took fabulous pictures as usual.

This afternoon (after working for a few hours), I have been enjoyed a few more short Christmas mystery stories from a past Christmas present from my Mom! This evening we tried a fabulous new Mexican pulled pork slow cooker recipe. Made enchiladas with it! Yum!

We also started a new jigsaw puzzle. It is fun that the kids, especially Ash, also like to help with the puzzle.
