A bit of free time for pavement diving!

Finally had some free time after a full morning of conference activities to get some exercise and explore before the big formal event tonight. I decided to walk/run over to the beach. Nice to dip my tired feet into the cool ocean!  Great temp!

Then I decided to run back to the hotel the long way. Well after a mile or so, the pavement reached out and grabbed me! Ouch! How embarrassing! 

After finishing my walk, got back to the hotel and cleaned my wounds up. 

Hoping my dress will be long enough to hide the damage tonight. I'll find out later. Right now I have my feet up and attempting to relax a bit before the final conference madness tonight. 

Update: dress is not quite long enough to cover up scuffed knees. Thank goodness for fancy hotels that have pantyhose in their shop. Bought two colors in hopes one will be sufficient to cover up blazing red and soon to be bruised knees!
