Blood Moon Over Fermi Lab

This picture is totally cool!

A gorgeous view of the progression of Monday night's eclipse over Chicago's Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. The dot in the corner is Mars, and the star closest to the moon is Spica, the 15th brightest star in the sky.

  1. Wow! What a great picture. Fermilab never looked so good. Should get that framed for Dad.

  2. Beautiful! Cloudy skies in west central Indiana that night. :-(
