A.K.A. "The Toxic Avenger", was witnessed today contaminating over 75 visitors to the Phillips 66 Research Center Off the Job Safety Committee Holiday Kitchen Safety Fair. Infested with cute little critters such as E.Coli, salmonella, food poisoning, listeria, the flu, and the common cold virus, she steered all who entered her domain to the booth containing hand sanitizer to learn more about the food-borne pathogens that cold ruin an otherwise festive holiday meal as well as personal hygiene techniques to keep germs at bay. Fair guests could also avoid the plague and other at home injuries by visiting the knife safety table - enjoying freshly made pico de gaio while learning how to handle, clean, and sharpen knives safely. A presentation on kitchen fire prevention was on hand with a trivia game to heighten participation. Guests could also see how hard it is to distinguish between many candies and medications; showing how important it is to keep medications out of the hands of little ones who may not know otherwise.
(Ha! The thrills of being management sponsor to a safety committee consisting of very energetic and creative new hires. Although this costume idea was all mine!!!! Mondays are usually not fun, but today was definitely an exception!)
I LOVE IT!!!
