If time is Chinese money, where are the Zombies????

So this week has been, well, ok.  We are under another "winter watch" with cold temperatures and threat of rain and ice.  Icicles formed on the outdoor raised walkway railings at work after morning rain showers.  Zach had a mixed day at school.  He got a red face for not following directions :(, but had a great time learning about Chinese culture and the Chinese New Year.  Apparently the parent of one of his fellow students (who is Chinese) came in to talk to his class and gave them all a Chinese coin for the New Year.  He was excited to tell us about woks and walls over dinner and how we need to take a plane to visit. 

Derek surprised me with "an early Valentine's Day gift" (has Derek does not believe that dreaded Hallmark Holiday!!!!).  The first is a clock which also acts as a "meeting cost calculator". 

You can put in the number of people in the meeting as well as the average hourly salary rate of the people in the room and calculate how much time you are wasting by having that meeting.  We first saw this on Dilbert.  I LOVE IT!!!!!  The second is a book entitled "Theories of International Pollitics and Zombies".  As Derek says, it will be a good mix of non-fiction and "brains".  Ha! 

This is the third night in a row that I have not had a significant amount of work to get accomplished.  I am waiting for the other shoe to drop...  I plan to enjoy the Zombie book and a bit of TV.  Derek's week has been challenging, but we can (sort of) see the light at the end of the tunnel.  Warm thoughts to all our northern friends and family who are buried in snow!!!!

Oh yeah, watch the Purdue/IU basketball game while running last night.  Boiler up!!!!!
