Go Texan Day!

It was "go Texan" day throughout Houston where the whole city (well at least the natives) dress up in cowboy garb to ring in the rodeo weekend.  The schools and daycare got in to the act.  Zach and his Woody cowboy hat helped participate! 
Derek and I had a nice 19/30 day going out to breakfast together and running various errands.  We also had a parent/teacher conference with Ash's teacher at the daycare.  Not surprisingly he is way ahead in just about everything for his age.  Yay!  Derek and I just got done watching the first half of the Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring.  Awesomeness!
