Where does the weekend go?

Nice morning making and eating fried eggs and potatoes.  Then downhill from there - first with house mopping, then taking Ashton to the pediatric urgent care clinic for all of his snot issues at noon when they opened (the place is a 20 minute drive away).  (for reference he looks like we beat him- he was that puffy today...)  Turns out all he needed were antibiotic drops for his eyes for a bacterial infection cause by his snot buildup.  But apparently, unlike our OK doctor, which would call in the eye drop antibiotics prescription, the doctors here will not call it in without seeing the child first.  So, two hours later with one tired and extremely cranky kid and one starving kid, we arrived home.  Getting a two year old to take eyes drops is nothing short of torture for both the kid and the parents.  Derek got the privilege of going to the store, not once, but twice tonight for various groceries...  I vaguely remember a time when weekends used to be relaxing...
