Yay for Tuesday!

I would not normally be so excited about going back to work after a 3-day weekend, however it has been a really good day.  Zach had a fantastic day at school with really good behavior.  He received another smiley face toward his Iron Man costume and will get a special ice cream dessert after dinner.  Ashton had a successful day of potty training at daycare.  He even pooped in the potty after his nap!  (Course he doesn't realize that by being so good he is losing out on all sorts of matchbox cars and other possible bribery aids!)  So, we are going to celebrate with BBQ brisket, potato salad, and beans.  (Jake is totally excited about it too!  He is currently standing in front of the oven with his nose in the air sniffing the goodness!)

Yesterday was a very productive day for all of us.  Derek and I spent most of the day cleaning up the basement and other odds and ends around the house.  We took another giant load of stuff to Goodwill and have 3 cans full of trash out at the curb.  Zach helped by finding all sorts of lost treasures and whatnot.  We then spent some time playing in the backyard with bubbles, balls, and a Nerf rocket launcher.  What fun!
