A Hug for Grandpa Randy

We are sending a big hug to Grandpa Randy who is still in the hospital.  His white blood cell count is elevated indicating infection from the "nasty" (the technical term used by his doctors) gall bladder remains.  So, the doctors are keeping him in the hospital for a few more days for monitoring and IV antibiotic treatment.  We hope he can go home soon!!!!  Zach and I both talked to him on the phone tonight to cheer him up.  Zach told me to tell Grandpa to be sure to take his "pink" medicine to make his stomach better. 

In other news, Ash has adopted a pair of Zach's old shoes.  They are his new treasures!  He carried them all around last night- even taking them to bed with him.  This morning he even insisted on taking them in the car to daycare.  He really enjoys chewing on the laces.  Pretty funny! 

Zach will be going to the IMAX theater in Tulsa tomorrow with his summer camp to go see Toy Story 3.  What a lucky kid!!!!  Then we will be having dinner and swimming at the Hammon's house!  We can't wait to have a relaxing evening hanging out with them and cooling off in their pool!
