Happy Easter!

We have had a festive Easter day!
We remembered Great Grandma Ruchti by making a batch of her famous anise cookies with icing. We had to substitue anise extract for the actual anise seeds as they could not be found in Bartlesville. They tasted the same, but did not have the signature anise seed crunch. We made pink, yellow, blue, and green stars with sprinkles!
We planted flowers in the front porch pots and put out the flag.

Easter dinner (ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, and salad)
We planted tomotes, lettuce, and spices in our garden and enjoyed the 84 degree weather!
