The big event today (besides the fact that Derek watched the boys while I took a much-needed hour nap...haven't been sleeping well on account of allergies and Ash's latest run of getting up in the middle of the night to suck down 6-8 oz- must be growth spurting again...but I digress...) was making chocolate chip cookies! Even Ash got in on the action. YUM! (We were inspired by Aunt Jenny who told us she made cookies for Greg's band performance last weekend.) Also in the pictures is Zach's experimental painting from school learning about mixing the primary colors to make green. orange, and purple. His class has been reading the book "Mouse Paint" where 3 white mice have all sorts of fun jumping into paint jars and mixing paint. He has been very excited to tell us all about it during dinner time. He definitely is a pro at knowing what colors mix to get what. Additionally, the shape of the week was the rectangle. Zach cut out a picture of a rectangular-shaped television with football players on it to show his class. In Ash news, he has become so "splashy" during bath time that his infant tub has been moved to the big bath. I STILL seem to end up soaked no matter what :)More soon!
