Soup for the Soul

Thanks so much to the Tullos family for bringing over homemade chicken soup for us tonight as well as cookies colored and designed by the Tullos boys! Zach even had two helpings of soup (and he normally won't eat soup)! We have had a lazy day enjoying each other's company. Grandpa Gary and Zach explored the backyard together and saw a turtle. (We saw a red fox earlier in the week twice in the early morning in our court- once chasing a raccoon. It is Wild Kingdom, Oklahoma style!) Derek and I have been enjoying the new zombie game. The dancing zombies that resemble Michael Jackson in his Thriller video are pretty funny. Also the zombie that drive the Zamboni (to freeze and invade your backyard pool) are quite a riot. Apparently in a later part of the game, you can plant hot chile peppers to melt the ice and smoke the zombies out. Awesome!!! Derek continues to do well, but is very tired. He also has developed a sensitivity to cold and must drink his beverages either warm or room temperature. Took a few pics of the boys today. Enjoy!
