Derek had another good day recovering. He was up in a chair again for most of the afternoon. They also got him up twice to lap the corridor. He did so well he was rewarded with a yummy lime popsicle! No news on the pathology yet (reports come in after 5pm-groan, but we should hear tomorrow morning). We are all doing well, but tired. I spent a nice evening with Ash and Zach- gave them their baths and read two long books!!! Derek's Mom is spending some quality time with Derek in the hospital this evening. I hope to curl up with a book for an hour this evening before bed and escape reality for a while. Good luck to Tracy, Stacie, and my other running buddies who are running the Route 66 Quarter Marathon and Double (Quarter plus another 5K) down in Tulsa tomorrow. Part of me will be with you in spirit!
