Keeping Positive

Derek was in good spirits again today. His intestines have started making sounds which is a great sign as it means his digestive systems is starting to work again. They moved him to a chair for most of the day. He felt much better sitting upright after being in bed all day yesterday. We brightened up his room with pics of the boys and Zach's drawings. I plan to go back and keep him company this evening after getting the boys to bed. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts!
