Wine-ing Allowed!!!

Zach is settling at home and relaxing after finals. Last night wen enjoyed relaxing outside and eating s’mores!!!

Today, Derek and I spent the day in Cottonwood, AZ with friends at the Verde Valley Wine Festival sampling AZ wines. We both liked a white wine called “Picpoul” created by students at Yavapi College in Prescott. The most unique wine was a tart green apple wine. My favorite red wine was called “The Fire” by Oak Creek Vineyards. Another unique wine was called “Morning Mood” and was a coffee-infused red Mourvèdre from 1764 Vineyards. 

After sampling wine, we drove up to Jerome, AZ and ate delicious wood-fired pizzas at The Haunted Pisano restaurant.
