My oh my it’s dusty!

Below is a picture from Zach of the dust storm (a Haboob) that Zach is currently experiencing down in Tempe on the ASU campus. Zach has been experiencing all sorts of crazy monsoon and dust storm weather in his first couple weeks back at school! He got drenched in a sudden storm during his second day of class last week!
Ashton and Derek made panty hose flour grenades tonight for an upcoming mock battle in Ashton’s military history class. Despite the dusty flour, the kitchen did not get that messy in the process. Thanks to Grandma Dixie for donating her panty hose! (My last pair of hose was donated to this exact same cause four years ago when Zach was in military history class!)

Not related to dust in any way, Derek, Ash,  Dixie and I enjoy the end-of-season band banquet this evening. Yummy Mexican food was on the menu!

  1. Honestly the word “haboob” makes me giggle…clearly back in middle school is exactly where I belong. Hope Zach stays safe! Funny about the hose…I always had to wear them, but haven’t in years! So glad it’s less of a thing now.
