I got Curie a 6 month subscription to Bark Box. She will receive an assortment of toys and snacks each month geared for enrichment of “super chewers” and “border collie/shepherd mixes”. This summer she has been outside almost all day, every day. She loves it- watching and hunting wildlife, playing, resting in the sun, and of course walks around the neighborhood or in the woods. She gets pouty and sad when she has to be cooped up inside. So we thought this would be one way to help her stay happy and engaged during inclement weather when she has to be inside. Well her first box came today. She got a new “free” dog bed (pictures to come when she actually uses it. It is still “fluffing” up and airing out). The new box theme was centered around aliens. We will wait on two toys to give to her later when it is raining and she has to be inside (pictures to come). However we could not resist giving her one new toy- and asteroid ball! The craters on the ball make it bounce around randomly when you throw it which makes play very exciting! It can also be filled with small treats for extraction enrichment (we will try that at a later time). She also tried some of the salmon and cheese snacks. She loves them so much she did her tricks perfectly!
