Iceland Day 2: Geysers, Waterfalls, Pizza, and hot tub!!

 

After a long day of exploring Ashton enjoys the thermal spring-fed hot tub at our hotel even though it is cold and windy out! 

Black Crust Pizza for dinner tonight. Their Icelandic pizza crust is made with charcoal dust in the sour dough to give its distinct color. 

A single lane suspension bridge 

Bruarfoss waterfall (“foss” means waterfall), we love that pretty blue color due to glacier silt 

Scenes from the magnificent Gullfoss! 

Glacier on the peaks in the distance . At first it looks like clouds and then you realize it is huge range of snow! 

Geysir geothermal area and Strokkur which erupts every 5-10 min

These boiling pools looked like a pair of sunglasses!
