I participated in the Community Band Spring Concert yesterday.  We played selections by Amy Beach ("Bal Masque"), John Williams ("Midway March"), Ennio Morricone ("Gabriel's Oboe"), Gustav Holst ("Second Suite in F"), and Satoshi Yagisawa ("Fanfare Hayabusa").  Great music and always a joy to play my flute with the ensemble! 

Dress Rehearsal! 

After the concert we celebrated Grandma Peggy's 77th birthday a couple of day early at the Oakmont restaurant.  I made Mom a crochet cupcake complete with cherry on top! 

Not as tasty as the real thing, but still sweet!
