Zach is having a challenging semester and was in need of some time away from campus for a brain break. So Ashton, Derek, and I drove down to Phoenix on Saturday to take him our for a meal and spend then afternoon with him. We ended up spending a lovely afternoon at the Phoenix zoo.
I was able to get some fun pictures of hummingbirds that were enjoying the flowers at the zoo.
We loved watching the Maned Wolf. She is basically a fox on stilts. She found a mouse snack while we were watching her and then she proceeded to "hide" her giant Kong toy!
The African Wild Dogs were big snoozers!
More crochet projects- Hedgehogs of different sizes- same pattern but experimenting with different size yarn and crochet needles. So fun!
