We celebrated Halloween this year watching Ashton and fellow band members march at a Flagstaff High School football game. Instead of wearing their marching band uniforms, the kids were allowed to dress up in Halloween costumes. So fun! Ashton dressed up as Detective Miller from The Expanse books and TV show. (although a bunch of kids thought that he was dressed up as Michael Jackson). It was also Senior Night at the game. So the band kids received a special meal of Mexican food instead of pizza before the game.
I dressed up for the game in my GREEN Dino outfit!
So we missed handing out treats to Trick-or-Treaters this year, but we sure had a treat watching our favorite FHS band flautist and future drum major!
Earlier in the day, I dressed up to teach my BodyBalance class along with other fellow instructors. Halloween is so much fun!
Dad also got to dress up in "X-ray Shorts" on Halloween during his appointment at Flagstaff Bone and Joint. Good news is that he is scheduled next week for an epidural steroid shot to help relieve severe pain caused by a herniated disc in his back! He is definitely looking forward to this future "treat"!
