We had a Christmas Eve celebration yesterday evening at Grandpa Randy and Grandma Peggy's house. The traditional Old Fashioned drinks were served along with a bounty of fun finger foods.

Last night Ashton and I kept up the tradition of matching Christmas Eve jammies while we all watched the animated film "Merry Little Batman" on Amazon Prime.
We slept in on Christmas morning, enjoyed an omelet made by Derek for breakfast, and then opened stockings. Santa knew just how to get in touch with our inner nerd!
Curie enjoyed getting a kong toy and a nylabone lobster that tastes like fillet mignon!
She loves here lobster! She even holds it while guarding the house against invaders!
Everyone converged on our house this afternoon for a Christmas Dinner of ham, homemade macaroni and cheese, Aunt Lillian's country green beans, Grandma Dixie's homemade yeast rolls, and salad with sugar cookies and fudge for dessert. We rounded out a nice Christmas Day with a rousing game of Monopoly Space Jam edition. Crazy fun! (And I normally do not like playing Monopoly!). We also enjoyed a brief FaceTime phonecall from Aunt Jenny and Wyn who are currently vacationing in New Zealand and Australia. (Yes! We are jealous! Their pictures are phenomenal!!!)
Some dogs are now pooped out!!!! We are all in Christmas night relaxation mode.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!!

The sound effects gizmos added even more hilarity to the Monopoly game! Dixie
