Holiday Vibes

On Wednesday night the Flagstaff High School music department hosted its annual holiday concert.  All groups performed including the band, choir, orchestra, color guard, twirlers, guitar club, and many small group ensembles between the big group performances.  It was a wonderful concert.  Here are pictures of the band.  Ashton is the flute in the second row with the glittery Santa hat on his head!

Other big news!  Ashton officially got his braces off on Wednesday.  Woohoo!  Yay for Ashton!  What a great smile!

BEFORE!
AFTER!

Annual holiday treats arrives from Grandpa Gary and Lori.  Time to pig out on goodies!
My friend and fellow fitness instructor Ely and I hosted two special "Sweater Weather" themed BodyPump classes this week.  We raffled off scarves made by Grandma Peggy to class participants.  Friends had lovely comments about Mom's knitting talent and loved the softness of the scarves.

We wore matching ugly holiday sweater fitness tanks for the events.  So fun!
Derek and I attended a fun holiday white elephant gift exchange party at a neighbor friend's house last night.  So fun!  Here is Derek with his saran-wrapped ball that he picked as his surprise present.  Unfortunately it was stolen.  Actually all of the presents that Derek picked were stolen.  He ended up with these funny 90 degree glasses where you can lay down and still watch TV or look at your computer screen.  Ha!  I picked (actually I stole) a yummy tequila set that came with two highball glasses.
New holiday hairdo.  Now to just figure out how to achieve this look in the morning without a hairdresser.  Haha!

And of course MORE pictures of Curie!

Curie spots a chipmunk on the fence outside.  She held this position for over 20 minutes.

We bought her an "indestructible" shark toy on Tuesday.  Curie took on that challenge.  It was headless in less than one day.

Today, most of the body has been de-stuffed and the squeaker annihilated.  Go Curie!
