All sorts of goings-on since I posted last on Halloween. Most recently Derek and I helped Grandpa Randy put together new shelving for garage organization this afternoon. We went out for a cozy dinner afterwards to celebrate a clean garage.
Saturday night Ashton, Derek, Grandma Dixie, and I went to see the local Flagstaff Theater group children's performance of the play "Puffs" which is a funny parody of the Harry Potter books and films. Prior to the performance we enjoyed Thai food at our favorite Thai restaurant in town, Swaddee Thai. Yum!!!!
On Friday evening, we watched Ashton and the Flagstaff Eagle Pride Marching Band's performance at the final home football game of the season. It was the hometown rivalry game between Flagstaff and Coconino High Schools, so lots of energy. Both high school bands performed during the game. It was wonderful to see the bands cheering and supporting one another despite the football team rivalry. The below picture shows the combined high school bands in the endzone performing together. Go bands!!!!
The FABULOUS FHS FLUTE SECTION!!! (Ashton is in the back.)
Prior to the game Derek, Grandma Dixie, and I helped the Band Booster Parents serve dinner to the band. It was the last game of the season and we have this whole dinner-service thing down to a science! What a fun (and organized) group of people! Go band family!!!!!
The kids were really impressed with our colorful and appetizing presentation of fruits and veggies!
Curie has totally adopted us as her family! Her puppy-antics are really showing now with curiosity and play. She is s very busy pup!. Puppy chewing casualties have included one iPad charging cord, Derek's shoelace, and one doorstop. She has also licked one of my slippers to death. Haha! She LOVES chewing on her nylabone and pouncing on her big ball. She loves giving kisses and is very curious about everything. After being mostly quiet for the first couple days she has now found her bark and fiercely defends her house and yard. She is very good on walks where everything is exciting and new! It is always fun to see what she is going to do next.

She loves looking at her own reflection (often mistaking herself for another dog).
She is so darn cute 💕
