Fourth of July Festivities!

We started off our holiday by attending the annual Flagstaff 4th of July parade downtown. Tons of people and a very festive atmosphere. Everyone was decked out in red, white, and blue! 







American flags were flying high over the crowds! 

Weirdest sights-lemon and lime dudes helping to advertise Pepsi’s new drink “Starry”. 

Ashton drinks a Starry. It is basically a rebranding of Sierra Mist.

Ashton enjoys a free blue popcicle! 





After the parade, we walked over to Proper Meats where Derek used his birthday gift card from Grandma Dixie to purchase caprese sausage which we enjoyed on the grill this afternoon. Delicious!!

Ashton and I also worked together to make our annual tradition of Firecracker Cake. So yummy and festive!
