Derek, Jenny, and I had a lovely evening together while Zach was at work and Ashton and Wyn were at camp. We loaded up into the car with Zach, our designated driver. Zach parked at Arby’s and started his shift while the three of us walked across the parking lot to the Grand Canyon Brewing Company where we sat outside on the patio. During Zach’s work shift, the three of us spent time talking and laughing while enjoying many of the wonderful beers they had on tap while noshing on appetizers. Zach joined us after his two-hour shift and drove us home. It was a fun time!
Derek tried a sample of a spicy “pepper” IPA. Wow! It really was spicy!!! He opted to NOT get a full pint and tried a different beer instead.
Yes- water was needed after drinking that beer!
Zach was trying hard not to laugh while finishing his arbys and driving us home.
Earlier in the day Derek grilled chicken for lunch which we served with grilled pineapple and veggies. Sooo tasty!
Jenny helped carve up the pineapple!
We also found two different varieties of POG juice at our local Safeway. We took the Pepsi challenge to determine which one we liked best. Yum!
