Leveling up!

Zach and the Flagstaff Mens tennis team won their first round of state team tournament play yesterday against ALA Gilbert North (the same team that they played and Ron against last week). Zach had a nail-biting singles match, winning 6-3, 7-6. His last game point was an ace serve! What a way to win!!!! Zach also won his doubles match with Rowan. The Eagles will continue state tournament play next Wednesday against Paradise Valley HS. Go Eagles!!!

Here is Zach with his doubles partner, Rowan, holding an empty container of tennis treats!!! All of the boys from both teams enjoyed the treats and also remembered Grandma Dixie’s chocolate chip cookies from last week.
