Yay yay! We’re in LA!!!!

October Break here we come! Grandma Dixie, Derek, and I picked up the boys after school, hit the highway, and headed west. (They have had half days all week due to parent-teacher conferences.) We arrived early evening in LA with a fun two days at Disneyland ahead of us! We listened to Disney tunes in the car to get us in the “Mouse House” mood. 

We sighted a beautiful rainbow during the 7 hour drive. We also experienced a range of temps from mid 70s to high 90s with rain over the mountain regions. Here in LA this evening it is in the low 70s and humid. 



The first thing Ashton did upon checking in at the hotel was hit the pool! 

Zach was thrilled to Ash-sit while Derek and I went out exploring. We walked up to the Disney entrance and back - about 1.7 miles round trip. It felt so good to walk after being cooped up in the car. 

Which light is the moon? (Hint- between the trees) 

Meanwhile, Snickers is having a blast visiting Grandpa Randy and Grandma Peggy for the weekend with lots of snacks and walks! (And snoozes too!)
