Members Preview Night at Lowell Observatory

Lowell Observatory is open again for vaccinated patrons (and those with negative Covid test result). Yay!!!! We had a fabulous evening listening to interesting presentations and getting fantastic views of Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, the Moon and other celestial objects through Lowell’s great array of telescopes.

Spectroscopy diffraction glasses! Way cool! (And we got to keep them!)

Ashton viewing The Moon through the famous Clark telescope. The Moon was so bright through the scope that they did not need to dim the dome lights. The detail of the craters and relief on the moon was so clear. Wow!
