Hiking in Hoodoo Heaven!

October Break is here!!!!! After school let out at 11am, we headed north into Utah for a short vacation at Bryce Canyon. The view of the San Francisco Peaks as we left Flagstaff was outstanding!

During the 5 hour drive, we drove through the southern end of Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Wow! Fantastic scenery. We stopped to take a short two-mile hike on the Toadstools trail. Derek said it was like hiking in a playground on Mars!!! Truth!!!! So fun!
