The kids were really well-behaved. But WOW high-energy and talkative! I am more worn out after 5 hours with them today then after my long training hikes. Ha!

Field Trip!!!!
Today Grandma Dixie and I accompanied Ashton and the Mount Elden Middle School 7th and 8th grade Apex classes to Buffalo Park for Community service. The kids picked up trash in areas surround the park, then enjoyed a picnic lunch at the park. The sunflowers were beautiful! At least four miles of walking/hiking!

It's not the walking that wore us out, it was the talking! Loved it. Can't wait to chaperone again!
