On the Road Y’all!!!

We are currently on our way to Indiana to visit Grandpa Randy and Grandma Peggy in South Bend and Great Grandma Evelyn in Crawfordsville. 

We are currently staying at a hotel in Amarillo, TX. 

Miracle- no blizzards, golf ball sized haul, torrential rains, tornadoes winds, or other buzzard weather during the drive. But man is it humid here compared to AZ!!! Anyway, we have had an uneventful drive. Derek, Zach, and I have each taken turns driving. We made our traditional two stops at McDonalds on either side of New Mexico to enjoy green chile cheeseburgers. The only downer was the fact that all McDonalds in NM are open for drive thru only - so no

Bathroom access which required a second stop. But we managed!

A stop at our favorite Sierra Blanca Brewing Company in Moriarty, NM to stock up on some varieties of beer to enjoy during our trip! (Four different six-packs in the box- Cherry wheat, Outlaw Lager, Green chile cerveza, and Dos Hefe Double Hefeweizen. ) 

Second burger stop is Tucumcari, NM. 

“Do you want fries with that?” Zach has applied and interviewed for a summer job with McDonalds. He will start work after our return from Indiana after a few more details are settled. We are helping him practice his McDonalds skills. Haha!!!

We are eating outside because the dining room is closed. Better and more fun this way anyway!
