Ashton is now a Snow Shark!

Ashton had his first session of precompetitive swim lessons with the Flagstaff Snow Sharks. His lessons take place at the Flagstaff High School pool. He had a great time! His best strokes are back and breast. He did well with butterfly as well and is working on improving his freestyle form as well as all of his strokes. He is also learning techniques for diving in off of the starting blocks and for executing flip turns. We will be going out later this morning to purchase him a speedo jammer swim suit that will not cause so much bubbles and drag. Stay tuned for a future fashion show! (Note that he wore his West Bend swim cap in honor of his Great Uncle Jim Sachse who is a swim coach in West Bend, Wisconsin). 

He came home and ate a big bowl of sliced bananas and strawberries! I bet he will sleep well tonight after all of that hard work.
