Very Superstitious!

We drove down south today to escape the cold and snow for a wonderful hike at Lost Dutchman State Park amongst the Superstition Mountains. The views and rock formations were fantastic!

A full grown cholla tree!

We climbed over 1000 ft on our 5 mile hike!

It was interesting hiking uphill into a canyon. We plan to go back to the park another time to attempt the 2000 foot climb to the “flatiron” from this point!

Cactus pose!

As an additional treat, we saw three pronghorn antelope near Camp Verde on our drive home. Awesome!

Meanwhile, Flag has another winter storm system moving in tonight with more snow expected. Stay tuned for more Spring Break activities and weather reports!
