Spooks in the ‘Hood!

Pictured are two of my favorite displays in our neighborhood so far. 

Zach says that the chimney skeletons need Santa hats. Ha! The red ivy looks so cool! 

Oh yes- and more books! 

The second quarter of school also started today. Zach continues with the sand three classes as last quarter: orchestra, AP World History, and honors chemistry. Ashton switched to all new classes: honors English, accelerated math, and social studies. He likes his new teachers. He also received a very nice report from his counselor for parent/teacher conferences today. He is praised for his class participation and contributions- staying on topic. Since he is so social, it helps the teachers keep the classes engaging and interactive. Apparently many of the students are shy and/or don’t participate in class much.
